Let's Be Fare - Campaign around the app

Proposed name of the app - Be Fare

This could be a branch of snapper. the app could be called "Be Fare." a wordplay on of Fare, referring to the money paid to ride the bus, in place of the word fair, meaning just and morally right.

Inspiration

Idea inspired by the word's

let's be fair

Concept - Speech Bubble Decal

When you board the bus you always look at the snapper machine. This idea uses that to promote the Be Fare app, using a speech bubble decal.

This could appear
  • on the glass behind the machine as if the machine is saying it.
  • on the machine as though the snapper fish was saying it
  • higher on the glass so you can see the person in the front seat "saying it"

Development - Speech Bubble Logo

The use of different weight of the same typeface lets us know the Fare isn't a typo

This improve upon the latter with the use of a different typeface so more emphasis is on Fare with the taller face. This Let's be is a little too thin though it gets lost

This is better, until the logo is smaller and it begins to get too thin

This is good, but maybe has too much leading to be read cohesively

This is the one I thought was working the best. its cohesive, the typefaces work together and sit nice and evenly.

Testing combinations of handwritten and script typefaces to present a friendlier, warmer look. after all this is about caring. But it is also a command so it needs the sans as well.

of the warmer typefaces tested I think this one is looking the best but i still prefer the two types of sans the best.

Development - Friendlier Speech Bubble Logo

This loses the crisp squareness that i liked in the full caps ones, it is also less commanding in the second image. The middle one is working best for me out of these.

Touch point - Bus side poster

The idea here is that commuters see a good example set here, where the elderly are all occupying the priority seats. The message show us you care is meant to pull on their heart strings and be a positive way to prompt moving.

I also thought to include the slogan fair is fare. This promotes the apps purpose of using your fairness as part of your bus fare.

This campaign would also promote riding the bus to elderly by showing them the bus company is compassionate to their struggles.
