Flyer Development

Idea

Body Copy

SuperSnap is the defender of common decency. We are bringing back the good old days of respect for your elders, with a system that alerts people to take notice of others. A notification will prompt people, through their phones, to be a hero and give up their seat. This will remove any awkward encounters. Good news, if you already have a Super Gold Card you are automatically eligible. Just show the driver your card as per usual and they will do the rest.

SuperSnap, saving the city one bus seat at a time!

Initial Front

Going for an old fashioned feel without too much half tone. The half tone is hard on your eyes at times and elderly already have plenty of issues with them. I also don't want to go too hard out with the comic book style for elderly as it doesn't suit the target audience.

I don't want to give too much away with the cover. but through the image, the sepia tone and the text it is fondly remembering a time in the past where elderly were prioritized to have a seat on the bus.

Initial Back

This image was from our poster. It gives a nice little scene, but little space for the text and elderly people will require a larger point size.

Second idea for Back

This image on the back links with the posters and the bus side.It seems to be lacking a little bit of context and maybe a BAM! but again I don't want to go too comic book for the elderly.

I did have it positioned so the pole was at the edge of the frame but there wasnt enough burst showing. also the pole should break the bottm frame, or the burst should not.

Back text layout

This feels a little too plain. it needs something to break the white space

I feel like your eye is too drawn to the logo section. but it is a nice clean style

Again This feels like too much negative space

This is better. but still feeling kind of boring.

This is overkill.

This seems to be the happy medium

I think I still prefer the black body copy, it stands out more

Bringing some more dynamism to the layout to match the poster and bus side. but the intersection of burst and text is a little awkward to read

The burst is still dominating the layout

These are working better but i have had to sacrifice the larger point size. it is still 9 point though so it should be reasonable to read

Refining text placement. This is definitely the best one.

Trying removing the 50% white overlay. It still works but i think it works better with it.

Front text layout

The black on the bubble is way too heavy. and the text isnt set to a grid

Trying moving the text around the grid to find optimum placement

This levels too much window wasted space and doesn't fit the genre

This works

Think i prefer it as a lead in. we read left to right

This works. but the edge of the box is likely to get cut off. adding the ellipsis to enhance the nostalgia, like someone is remembering and trails off into their thoughts.

This is back to the original position almost. perhaps the text was on the grid without a grid. Keeping the ellipsis and the gap from the edge.

Either of these last two are working for me.
